  With a base of rubber dissolved with organic solvents, colourless Gutta is an excellent CLASSIC Gutta. You can adaptthe product to suit the type of silk you are using by adding some drops of H.DUPONT ESSENCE-F. Gutta can be appliedwith different sizes of nib attached to a pipette (bottle) or with a hand-made paper cornet. As it is quick-drying, you canpaint your silk immediately. After fixing the silk you can remove the Gutta by putting the silk into a bath of ESSENCE-F.

  Colourless NO GUTTA

  This has the same qualities of softness and resistance against colour bleeding as all H.DUPONT waterbased guttas. The NO Gutta is colourless on the silk despite its opaque appearance. It is suitable for all gutta techniques in silkpainting. Use a medium sized nib because the line will appear larger on the silk.

  There are 6 shades in our range: Yellow, Red, Blue, Green, Brown and Black.It can be used with H.DUPONT CLASSIQUE (steamfixing range) and ARASILK (heatfixing range).It gives an excellent result and keeps the natural softness of the silk. It can be fixed by ironing for 2 or 3 minutes on the reverse side of the silk. It can also be dry-cleaned. Attach a nib onto the tube to easily achieve a precise line.

  There are 5 shades in our range: Silver, Pale Gold, Rich Gold, Fire, Copper.The products are ready-to-use. Use a medium-sized nib : not too small (or the gutta will not make a sufficient barrier)but not too large (there is a risk of peeling). Apply the colours once it is completely dry. Fix the gutta by ironing for 3 minutes at 150°C on the reverse of the silk.
