Devorant

H.DUPONT DEVORANT works on the principle of selectively destroying textile fibres. It destroys or burns out viscose andplant fibres (cotton, linen, etc), while others remain intact, such as polyester and animal fibres (silk, wool, etc).On mixed-fibre fabrics, a wide array of artistic effects can be achieved, by highlighting the contrast between the destroyed and the intact fibres. On single-fibre fabrics such as 100% cotton and 100% viscose, the DEVORANT enables some of the fabric to be “burnt out” depending on how the product is applied. In this way Lace or Buttonhole effects can be achieved.
