Used to dilute the concentrated colours into medium and pastel shades. This product is highly recommended to createeven backgrounds, without brush strokes or hard lines. To use Concentrated Thinner H.DUPONT first add 40ml of the thinner to 960ml of water (distilled water is best). This mixture can be added to the colours in any proportion you like.

The Prepared Thinner is pre-mixed. It contains alcohol.It helps the colour to diffuse on the silk, and also helps the effects of salt. You must work fast as it dries very quickly.It is ready-to-use, mix 10 to 50% with the colour to achieve the desired shade.

Diluted 50% with water, it can be added to colours to achieve pastel shades. If used undiluted on your brush, it will lighten the colours on the painted silk (before steaming) and will allow the addition of free-hand designs. You can also use it to clean your worktable.
